Where We Work
We're based at 588 San Ramon Valley Blvd in Danville, and most of our calls come from right here in town or close to it. Diablo is about 2 miles from our door, Blackhawk about 3, Alamo about 4, Norris Canyon and Camino Tassajara around 5, and San Miguel about 6. We also get out to Moraga, Clayton, Lafayette, and Fairview when someone calls from that direction - roughly 9 to 10 miles out.
Farther afield, we've covered jobs toward Reliez Valley, Ashland, Pleasant Hill, Orinda, and even as far as Martinez, Bay Point, or Mountain View when the schedule allows it. If you're past 15 or so miles, call first and we'll tell you honestly whether it makes sense for us to come out that day or whether you're better served by someone closer. We'd rather say that up front than have you wait on a truck that's an hour away.
What We Actually Do
Danville's housing stock runs from 1938 up through 2008, with a lot of it built in the 1960s and 70s across the different pockets of town. That range means we see a real mix: older single-panel doors on side-mounted torsion springs that nobody makes parts for anymore, and newer sectional doors with openers barely a decade old. We work on broken springs, cables off the drum, bent tracks, rollers that have worn through their bearings, and openers that won't respond to the remote or the wall switch.
We also handle full door replacement when a repair doesn't make sense anymore - sometimes a door has taken enough hits to the bottom panel, or the torsion hardware is old enough that patching it just delays the same failure. One honest limit: if a part is obsolete enough that we can't source it in a reasonable window, we'll tell you that instead of stringing out a repair that won't hold.
